In Old Havana, you can visit the Cathedral built in 1704, is a remarkable example of baroque style and presides over the only enclosed square in Latin America. This site thrives with cultural events, craft fairs and museums. In front of the Cathedral stands the restaurant “El Patio”, displaying its outdoor tables and musical bands. There are many galleries and museums in the surroundings, as well as the world famous restaurant “La Bodeguita del Medio”, where you can enjoy the typical “mojito” cocktail and delicious Cuban food. Further on you will find the Plaza de Armas, a square surrounded by museums, galleries, restaurants and coffee shops. There takes place a traditional street spectacle performed by musicians and actors in stilts.
