POST You will find post services at National Post Offices. You can buy stamps with the local currency and insert your letter at the mailbox. There also exist some agencies offering special correspondence services for Cuba and foreign countries.

FAST SERVICES In 1991, CUBAPOST management was born to guarantee a fast and efficient service to Diplomatic Corps, Commercial Delegations, foreign firms and mixed companies. At this moment it also offers renting of franking machines and Post Office Boxes.
CUBAPOST is also correspondent in Cuba of diverse international couriers.
Another Company in Cuba is DHL World Wide Express, which is located in Aero Caribbean Company’ Building in number 64 of 23 Street in Vedado.

TELEGRAPHIC SERVICE The automatic network is composed by around 1000 offices, receiving around 11 million telegrams annually.
POST TARIFFS Cuba produces all post material (stamps, postcards, frank develop) required for its services and sends out stamps for more than 10 countries in different continents.
Postcards cost around 50 dollars, independently of the destination.
Send a setter to Europe : 0.75 $, to any country of the American Continent: 0.65$ and for the rest 0.85$.
Stamps are sold in Cuban currency at Post Offices and in dollars at Hotels.
Post Service exists in al town and cities, even when it has a slow operation. Hotels have an own mailbox but it normally causes delays. The best option is going to a Post Office directly. DHL Express offers a courier service from Cuba. In case of staying for long periods of time in the island DHL could be very helpful.
